There is a relationship between wholeness and healing. Wholeness is about embracing and honoring all parts of you. Pay attention to what aspects you are rejecting and welcome them into your life with love and compassion. All parts of you - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual are welcome.
Here is a short mindfulness meditation to embrace all parts of you. Many of you know this.
Sit quietly with a piece of paper in front of you. Clear your mind and just become aware of the present moment. Then answer the following questions. Accept the first answer that comes up. No judgment or interrogation, just allow it to be.
My body is
My body wants
My heart is
My heart longs for
My mind is
My mind needs
My spirit is
My spirit desires
I am
I embrace
Step back and notice what you become aware of. Journal about your learnings of what is going on for you.
This powerful exercises teaches us to embrace and explore all aspects of our self and heal the inner wars that may be going on.
