Our power lies in acceptance

Not everything goes according to the way we think it “should” be. There are often many things outside of our control and life will unfold the way life does. Our power lies in acceptance of the reality we face and most of our energy is depleted when we fight reality. 

The image refers to the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi which is about putting together broken pieces of pottery with gold to make it even more beautiful than it was before. As artists of life, we are able to put the pieces of plans, ideas and goals together with a tinge of gold and light and learn to discover the beauty that is different to what we planned.
