There are a number of ways that we can face the challenges and opportunities that happen in our life.
One approach is the belief that life is happening TO you. In this way we often feel like we have no control and are powerless to influence and we end up being quite reactive to life.
The other approach is to believe that life is happening FOR you. This creates space for an open mind and an open heart which is the prerequisite for a growth mindset. To grow means that you know you have the power to respond to your life.
We may not always be in control of what happens to us. But we always have the power to choose how we respond to life.
Create moments to interrupt the reactions you have to life and choose how you would like to respond.
